Back when I was experimenting with painting stuff in early 2014, I did this one of Top Cow Comics’ character, Witchblade.
Once a generation, the mystical Witchblade gauntlet chooses one woman to be its bearer, and grants her its powers. The Witchblade can alter its shape at will, granting the wearer armor or extra weaponry, yadda yadda yadda, it’s very 1990s Image Comics, and in many cases, probably an excuse for the artists to draw a mostly-naked woman but also a bunch of cool techy details.
Obviously, I’ve got a ways to go before my painting is as good as Michael Turner’s illustrations:
I think my mom ended up buying the original painting… so that’s neat.
