Hey, remember that weird-ass fighting game Tatusonoko vs Capcom that was only in, like, Japanese arcades and the Nintendo Wii? No? Well, that’s probably because it was only ever released in Japanese arcades and on the Nintendo Wii.
Anyways, it had some of the coolest anime characters from Tatsuonoko, as well as a… selection? of Capcom characters. Legendary SNK artist Shinkiro had moved over to Capcom by this time and did all the character portraits.
TvC also had an upgrade the following year, titled Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars, which added some new characters and rebalanced the gameplay to make it more fair. The following gallery has, I believe, all of the artwork from both games, with characters listed in alphabetical order. If there’s only one image of a character, well, they were only featured in Ultimate All-Stars!
